Educational Goal
- Established in 1982 and the first of its kind in the country, the Department of Philosophy of Religion endeavors to produce pastors and religious leaders who are spiritually, intellectually, and philosophically equipped to offer Christian views to the challenging questions of sercular studies that go beyond the boundaries of the church and Christan theology.
Department Curriculum
- Students undergo a holistic curriculum that includes eastern and western philosophy, study of the religions Confucianism, Buddhism, Islam, and Judaism in addition to the core theological courses.
Career Path
- More than half of the graduates eventually are ordained pastors either in the Korean Methodist Church or serve in the 84 different mission field countries, including Africa. Other career paths include the news and movie industries.
